For the past decade, she has worked in the single-family rental space building complex operating, investment and asset management companies. She is passionate about cultivating inclusive environments for people to bring their best to the organization while striving for “best in class” performance benchmarked against other industry competitors.

Most recently, she was the Co-Founder, President, and COO of Sparrow, a high-touch, tech-forward asset and property management platform that acquired, owned and operated over 3,000 high quality rental homes in 10 markets through the US.  Jami is a champion of women in the workplace and, at Sparrow, curated a high performing and diverse management team comprised of 80% women and minorities.

Jami received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law.  Jami lives in Phoenix with her husband and enjoys gardening, yoga, exercising and visiting her adult sons.

Meri founded a successful Portrait Design business engaging national and international clients and their families for over thirty- five years; building on her ability to recognize opportunities promoting positive relationships.

Meri received her BA from SUNY/Buffalo in Sociology; and an MA/Education from ASU. She has served on the Foster Care Review Board; mentored at Free Arts Az. And Live and Learn; and volunteered with At Risk Schools Phoenix.
